“This was my first experience dealing with an auto body shop and an insurance claim, so I was a little hesitant and didn't know what to expect. Well, I had absolutely no reason to be with Acme by my side. After my initial call to insurance Acme handled all the rest of the communication with them and made it so easy for me. Lisa did a great job keeping the line of communication open with updates as they were working on my car which I appreciated. When I picked it up, it looked amazing. My daughter said it looked brand new again...so huge kudos to Acme!”

“Picked up my wife’s car today, 2019 Hyundai Elantra, I gotta tell you they did an awesome job, I looked and looked and looked and looked and then went back and looked some more I could not find anything wrong no sand scratches in the paint everything was properly installed to factory specs no overspray on the car the paint matched absolutely perfect I tried to find something wrong and I just couldn’t, beautiful job. When I pulled in to pick up my car it was vacuumed and washed, and they went out of their way to buff off some light scratches I had on the other side of the bumper cover, they didn’t even do work on that side they take care of everything so you don’t have to worry about anything it was great it’s been so long since I’ve gotten A+ service. The shop is immaculate they cover all the cars inside the shop so not to get overspray on them very professional. I can go on all day, thank you guys My wife and I are wicked happy you’re my new body shop and I will spread the word thanks again. Oh yeah I forgot the best part the work is guaranteed for ever !!! “Auto accidents are NEVER pleasant. Acme took time with me, explained how the process works, had the car for enough time to do the job correctly, and returned the car to me in beautiful condition. I would never consider going anywhere else, whether the insurance paid for it or not. Wonderful company with excellent people.”

“Somewhat surprised at some of the reviews here, I've used them twice (my own and my wife's cars) both times were hit by others. (and am actually bringing my wife's car in tomorrow for a third time) and both times they were the epitome of courtesy and professionalism. The work was flawless and am 100% happy with them and as I said I'm bringing my wife's car in tomorrow, someone backed into her. I don't know if their turn around time is long but as I have loss-of-use coverage we have a free rental so it is a moot point. They are perfectionists on the repairs so perhaps that may be why their turn-around time is long. Also they are booked out a couple of weeks so they might not be able to start on it for a while but again loss of us coverage took care of that too if the car isn't driveable. I know of someone who needed work done and didn't want to file an insurance claim so asked for a quote for out of pocket cost and they were higher than who they ended up going with so that might be a factor for some”

“As good as it gets. I have been here twice, (accident prone) and the fact that I am willingly admitting that in a review shows how pleased I am with Acme and their services. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of customer service that I received here. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel out of the loop about the progress of the repairs on my vehicle. My latest visit was a pretty serous accident, and was right outside of the body shop. I came in immediately after with my car, and Ray, the service agent I dealt with assured that I was okay and made me feel so comfortable in such a stressful and miserable time. They originally quoted me a longer wait time to get my car back, under the impression that I had rental on my insurance (I understand why the wait time was long, this place is the best in the area), after I let them know that I was paying out of pocket for my rental they assured me that they would do everything that they could to get it done sooner, and they finished almost 10 days earlier than my insurance company had projected! The car looked amazing, and they even vacuumed and cleaned the inside. I explained the day before that I was on a tight time schedule and had to pick up the car before work, and he had the car running and ready out front for me when I picked it up! They recognize the little things that make a BIG difference. It took about 5 minutes to go over paperwork and I was on my way. I would recommend this place to ANYONE looking to get quality repairs and great service. If there is a wait- it's only because they are an outstanding company with many loyal customers. Worth the wait- I've heard horror stories of other auto centers in the area. Support local business and go to Acme. This may sound like an ad- but its just a really, really satisfied customer who recognizes that many businesses forget about the value of quality customer service.”

“Don and the great folks at Acme Automotive go above and beyond. When I was t- boned only a couple months after purchasing my vehicle, the car needed major repairs and replacements. The team at Acme automotive, did beautiful, efficient work and communicated with me every step of the way. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the quality of the work, their effective communication and their general optimistic and kind demeanor made a difficult situation so much better. “Acme Automotive continues to provide great auto body services to our family. With so many choices in the pioneer valley we have brought our car's bumps, dents, & dings to this Northampton business. We have had good experiences at Acme. The staff has pleased us with professional service, customer focus, listening to our needs and within a budget we can handle. And they have a friendly crew that takes pride in doing a job right.

We've been there 4 times over 15 years with the little things that happen when we park. So we will probably be back before too long. But oh, do they do nice work? Yes! No disappointments. We recommend Acme to family, friends & neighbors.

“Excellent customer service. I had work on my front bumper done, and it was completed within two days, exactly as quoted, even with finding additional damage when they were working on the car. So they completed the quoted work and more within the specified time. My interior was cleaned spotless and vacuumed when I picked it up which was a great surprise! When I called to say I would be there in a few minutes to pick up my car, they had it running and all warmed up for me on this cold snowy day. I truly appreciated the personal way I was treated by the entire staff at ACME. Hopefully I won't need to come back, but if I do, I know I will be dealing with a great facility. Highly recommend.”

“Nobody likes taking their car into the shop, but these folks made the process a whole lot less horrible.

I was rear-ended by a big truck, and took my car to Acme to get it fixed. Everyone who I spoke with there was incredibly helpful. Rob even called me multiple times with updates when the insurance company was slow to respond. In the end, it was determined that my car wasn't worth fixing, but even then, the folks at Acme were incredibly helpful, giving me the phone numbers of local salvage yards.

Take your car to these folks -- they won't disappoint!”

“I called two body shops to get info on bringing my car in to get fixed, it had a lot of damage from being rear ended. I chose Acme because Lisa was very nice and incredibly thorough on the phone, she even let me email her the estimates given by the insurance appraiser so she could have all the info before I even came in.

Don was really nice and personable, he called me with updates and was always available to answer questions whenever I called him. He had to have the insurance appraiser come back once they disassembled the car and they found further damage, which required them to total it. So I didn't actually get any body work done there, but I'm sure if I need it in the future Acme is the first place I will go.

I also love their online system which is updated every weekday and allows you to see the progress of your car, with photos, so you can be assured that they are actually doing the work needed and it's not just sitting on the lot.

The best part about them is that they are such nice people!”

“Excellent experience at Acme! Rob looked at my front bumper which had become detached, called in one of his mechanics, and he fixed it right then and there. The end result looked terrific. Both Rob and the mechanic were professional and personable. AND, they didn't charge me anything! I was in and out within 20 minutes with a huge smile on my face.

I'll be bringing all my auto body work to Acme in the future, and I highly recommend them!”

“I brought my Blizzard White Prius to Acme because of red paint scraped onto the front fender. Although I just dropped in without an appointment, Lisa immediately walked out to the lot with Ray to inspect it. Ray did some remarkable magic, within moments every speck of red paint was gone, and the Blizzard White fender sparkled like new. I'm not sure which was more impressive--the friendly, accomodating, receptive staff, or the excellence of service. I highly recommend Acme, and will be going to Acme in the future for all my auto body needs.”

“I signed up on yelp just to write a review about Acme. I called to set up an appointment to get my car looked at after I was hit in an accident. The woman on the phone was so nice and got me an appointment first thing the next morning, she even called the rental car company for me and had them come pick me up. From then on I only spoke with Lisa and I really can't say enough nice things about her. She explained everything that was going to happen, dealt with the insurance company for me, responded to my e-mails quickly, and called with updates as they happened. I just picked my car up today and it looks amazing, clean inside and out and you can't even tell I was ever in an accident.”

“Full disclaimer: I only had to have an insurance inspection done, so that is the extent of my experience with Acme.

Now that I got that out of the way, my experience with Acme Auto was fantastic. I needed to get my new car "inspected" (the insurance inspection where they take a bunch of pictures and that's about it) within a handful of days. I tried calling the Midas and they told me I'd need to get the car washed before the inspection and that even if I did that, by the time I drove over to them the car would be too dirty for them to take the pictures! So...no one ever buy cars when there is snow on the ground? Absurd!

I called Acme and she said as long as there was no snow on the car and it was sunny we'd be good to go, no appointment necessary. I got in and out in less than 10 minutes and even received a nice follow up letter in the mail early the next week.
